Protect what you’ve built.

Give your Claris FileMaker solution the secure foundation it needs. If you’re using an older FileMaker version, it’s time to upgrade and close the security gap.

Upgrade now

Running old software leaves your FileMaker solution exposed to vulnerabilities.

Once a FileMaker version reaches the end of support, security patches stop. Known vulnerabilities stay open permanently, and every day that passes widens the gap.

For small and midsize businesses, that gap has real consequences:

94%

consider cybersecurity critical to business success.*

81%

believe AI increases the need for more security controls.*

62%

of breached SMBs reported losses that exceeded $250,000 in 2025.

88%

of data breaches affecting SMBs involved ransomware.

81%

experienced a security or data breach in the past year.

Apple security standards at the core.

FileMaker’s security capabilities are only as strong as the patches keeping them current. On an unsupported version, known vulnerabilities in these protections go unaddressed, and that undermines the very foundation your solution runs on.

“Outdated software doesn’t fail the day support ends. Exposure builds quietly as security patches stop and the tech around it, your OS, browser, hardware, keeps moving forward. That risk compounds until it hits your FileMaker solution when you least expect it.”

Unsupported FileMaker versions no longer receive security patches, stability fixes, or technical support. Running old software leaves your FileMaker solution exposed to vulnerabilities and you may experience performance issues.
