FileMaker has introduced activation technology in single-license versions and 5-Packs of FileMaker Pro 9 and single-license versions of FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced.

What does Activation do?

Activation helps ensure you have a genuine copy of FileMaker software, and helps protect FileMaker, Inc. from illegal distribution of its software.

How does Activation work?

The activation process will be prompted the first time you launch select FileMaker applications. It will take just a few seconds to complete via the Internet, and there will be no personal information captured or transmitted during the activation process for individual licenses.

You may choose to activate your software over the phone by contacting Customer Support.

You will have 30 days to activate your software, after which time non-activated software will no longer function.
